This policy explains what data we collect on trip4free.org (the "Site"), why, and what rights you have. Trip4Free is a travel comparison service: we do not sell hotels, flights or car rentals. When you run a search we redirect you to third-party partners (Kayak and its white-label brands, ClickTripz) who show the offers and handle the booking. Provided under Articles 13-14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR").

If you do not consent to marketing cookies, your IP address, user-agent and click identifiers are not stored: we keep only an anonymous counter of the visit, country and device type.

Regardless of consent, when you run a search you are redirected to Kayak and its brands (momondo, HotelsCombined, Cheapflights, swoodoo, checkfelix): their own privacy policy applies from that point on.
Technical suppliers processing data on our behalf (hosting, Cloudflare CDN) act as processors under Art. 28 GDPR.
Some recipients are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified organisations, or on Standard Contractual Clauses (Implementing Decision (EU) 2021/914) with supplementary measures. Personal data linked to a click (IP address, user-agent, advertising identifiers) is automatically deleted within 60 days by a daily job. After that only aggregated, anonymous statistics remain.
You have the right to request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and to object to processing (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing. To withdraw cookie consent use the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.
Write to [email protected]; we reply within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian supervisory authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome) or the authority of your country of residence.
If you are a California resident you have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the "sale/sharing" of your personal information (CCPA/CPRA); use the same contact details.
Email [email protected] with the subject "Data deletion". We will erase any personal data we still hold. As noted above, click-level personal data is in any case purged automatically within 60 days.
We do not carry out automated decision-making producing legal or similarly significant effects on you under Art. 22 GDPR.
The Site is not intended for children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the last revision; if changes materially affect cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
